Dylan Mulvaney Sets High Speaking Fees on ‘Promoting Empowerment’

Dylan Mulvaney, a notable transgender influencer on TikTok, is planning to embark on a speaking tour for colleges. Mulvaney recently announced that her speaking fees for these engagements will be as high as $40,000, focusing primarily on the topic of “promoting female empowerment.”

Mulvaney shared the exciting news about her upcoming speaking tour through an Instagram story, urging college students to book speaking engagements through the agency Crista Spadafore.

Crista Spadafore, the agency representing Mulvaney, has confirmed that her speaking fees will indeed amount to $40,000. It should be noted that Mulvaney charged $26,250 for her appearance when she spoke at the University of Pittsburgh earlier this year. A quick look at her booking page with CAA reveals that she is capable of speaking about a wide range of topics, including “empowering women.”

Aside from being a renowned TikTok content creator, Mulvaney, who identifies with the pronouns she/they, is also known as a trans actress. After her touring stint with Broadway’s Book of Mormon was cut short due to the pandemic, she turned to TikTok. It was here that she shared her inspiring transgender journey, amassing millions of followers. Notably, her series called “Days of Girlhood” accumulated over 750 million views in less than 100 days. Her contributions to the community were recognized when she was featured on Good Morning America’s “Who is Making LGBTQ+ History Right Now?” list.

Earlier this year, Mulvaney found herself in the middle of controversy when she briefly partnered with Bud Light. The collaboration received significant backlash, with Bud Light’s declining sales and Modelo surpassing it as America’s number one beer. In response, Bud Light distanced itself from Mulvaney. This action led to Mulvaney accusing the company of perpetuating transphobia.

Mulvaney addressed the issue in a video, acknowledging her love for beer and stating that she won’t tolerate anyone claiming otherwise. She revealed that the partnership with Bud Light brought about more “bullying and transphobia” than she had anticipated, leaving her feeling fearful and isolated. Despite waiting for public support from the brand, it never came. Mulvaney criticized Bud Light for not standing by her publicly, believing that such actions only fuel transphobic behavior and have serious consequences for the LGBTQ+ community.
